Description
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have you found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

Well, I'm quite a fan of the Sonic the Hedgehog style myself so here's my take on this:
I love how the picture looks simple yet at the same time, it doesn't. The title of the picture and the character's expression seem suitable together in my opinion, and perhaps the bangs sticking out of his hair portrays a kind of a 'sad' emotion paired up with loneliness.
However, the coloring seems a bit too simple- though I like what you did for the white fur on him. The shadows need some more work (for example: there should be shadows on his hair since it's behind him). I think if you work more on your shadows and lighting, this picture would give more impact than you think!
